Sometimes, I wonder why the house hasn't burned down yet.

One bit of electrical wiring worth salvaging. Salvage we did.

Wiring runs along the roof connects the switch to the overhead light.

That outlet has relatively new wiring to it, but it's spliced into the knob & tube upstairs. No problem, we'll just install a junction box up there, and run new wiring to it. Might not replace the wiring.. Or we might. Depends on how lazy we get later.

Hard to tell here, but I'll explain as best I can. The 220V circuit that runs upstairs originally for the wall unit, but we've since co-oped to use for power in the attic and upstairs.... Anyway. There is a double pole circuit breaker here. However, that breaker is not being used for the 220 circuit. Instead, one side of the circuit connects to the upper left breaker and the other side connects to the middle right breaker. Should there be a fault, one side will trip, and the other... well, we don't know.

Water leaks in around the chimney, runs down this board, and likely down into the wall. This is possibly what caused the water damage in the dining room window. But that's just wild speculation on my part, with no evidence to prove it.
